Your photos and AI processing

AI Hair Color Change turns a portrait into an AI hair dye video. When you press Generate, your photo is sent through our server to fal.ai and its model provider to create the video. Do not upload a photo unless you have permission to use it. You can browse the site without sending a photo.

The studio center-crops your photo to a vertical frame in your browser. The cropped portrait is uploaded to fal.ai for video generation. A working link is temporarily stored in your private task record until Recast is submitted, then removed from the active record. Generated video links remain in your private task history. A task interrupted before submission may retain the portrait link until it is resumed or handled through support. This does not mean the image never leaves your device: fal.ai receives it, and its own privacy and retention policies apply. We do not promise immediate deletion by third-party providers.

Task and account records

We store task identifiers, selected colors, generation status, output video links and credit usage so you can check progress and download your videos. Registered accounts also store your name, email, sign-in records and credit ledger. Generated videos may remain accessible at the provider's delivery URL; avoid sharing that URL if you want to keep a video private.

We use a signed browser cookie to associate guest tasks with your browser. No free generation allowance is offered. Authentication cookies and language preferences support sign-in and localization. The task identifier may be saved in local browser storage to restore progress after a reload.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google handles the account authorization. We receive the basic account information needed to create and sign in to your account, such as your Google account identifier, name, email address and profile image. We do not receive your Google password or request access to your Gmail or Drive for sign-in. Authentication records are stored privately with your account. Google's own privacy terms apply to its processing.

Hosting and payments

Cloudflare hosts the production website and database. Waffo Pancake processes payment card details on its hosted checkout. Our app stores order identifiers, payment status, amounts and credit records, not full card numbers or card security codes. Optional analytics or customer-support services operate only when enabled by the site operator.

Retention and requests

Task, account and payment records are retained to operate the service, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Provider-hosted output files follow the provider's retention policy and may expire. You can update your profile in account settings. Use the support ticket section in your account to request access, correction or deletion of your data. Some financial records may need to be retained.

Security

We restrict task queries and downloads to the owning account or signed guest browser. Provider API keys stay on the server. No internet service can guarantee complete security. We may revise this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies this version.

Age, legal bases and your rights

The service is for adults aged 18 and over. We process account, portrait and task data to perform the requested service; security and abuse prevention support our legitimate interests; legally required records are processed to comply with law. Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection through account support and complain to your local supervisory authority. We do not sell personal information. Our providers may process data outside your country; provider privacy terms apply to their processing. We do not claim certifications or transfer agreements we have not verified.
